The photographic practice begins with personal recollection: intimate encounters, landscapes, travel and the experience of being elsewhere. The moving-image works return to family narratives and the fragments through which a past becomes present.

The sonic worlds expand these concerns through fictional voices, philosophical questions and electronic form. Queer desire is a central thread, alongside migration, embodiment, responsibility, uncertainty and the possibility of repair.

Parallax names a change in appearance when the position of the observer changes. As a curatorial frame, it allows these works to speak to one another without requiring them to say the same thing.
